I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Cornell University. My current research focuses on the health consequences of barriers to accessing health care with project spanning three primary topics: (1) The impact of urgent care centers on healthcare access, spending, and patient health; (2)The local labor market and public health impacts of expanding the nurse practitioner labor supply; and (3) The barriers to birth control prescription adherence. 

Prior to attending Cornell, I spent two years at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors as a member of the team designing and studying the Survey of Consumer Finances. While I was there, my research focused on measuring the liquid savings of US families, and the ability of those families to weather adverse financial shocks.
