I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Cornell University. My research focuses on the health consequences of barriers to accessing health care. I currently have projects focused on the health consequences of delaying treatment due to physician office closures on weekends, barriers to birth control prescription adherence, and the public health effects of expanding the nurse practitioner labor supply. Prior to attending Cornell, I spent two years at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors as a member of the team designing and studying the Survey of Consumer Finances. While I was there, my research focused on measuring the liquid savings of US families, and the ability of those families to weather adverse financial shocks.
